Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. in India seeks a Head of Fund Accounting to lead end-to-end accounting for PMS and AIF schemes, reporting to the CFO.

You will oversee NAV computation, financial statements, audits and build a strong control environment while mentoring a high-performing team.

Mandatory CA with Big 4 experience in an AIF environment; CFA or MBA is an advantage. Strong system implementation and automation skills are essential.

Qualificações

• Chartered Accountant with Big 4 articleship and post-qualification experience in AIF.
• Experience in end-to-end fund accounting for PMS/AIF schemes across Category I–III.
• Strong knowledge of SEBI reporting and statutory audit processes.
• Proven leadership of a fund accounting team and system/process improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end fund accounting for PMS and AIF schemes.
• Review and sign off NAV computation, unit capital, expenses, income, and distributions.
• Review and finalise scheme financial statements against accounting standards and SEBI rules.
• Design and enforce a robust financial control framework with maker-checker and reconciliations.
• Lead statutory and internal audits; liaison with auditors, custodians, registrars, trustees, and tax advisors.
• Oversee selection, implementation, and optimization of fund accounting systems; automate NAV packs.
• Build, supervise, train and review the fund accounting team.

An alternatives (AIF and PMS) investment management business is hiring a Head of Fund Accounting, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and leading a team at Manager and Analyst level.

Key responsibilities:

• End-to-end fund accounting for PMS and AIF schemes across Category I, II and III structures
• Review and sign off NAV computation, unit capital, expense accruals, income recognition and distributions
• Review and finalise scheme financial statements against applicable accounting standards and SEBI reporting requirements
• Design and enforce the financial control framework - maker-checker, reconciliations and review discipline
• Own the statutory and internal audit cycle for all schemes; liaise with statutory auditors, custodians, fund accountants, registrars, trustees and tax advisors
• Lead selection, implementation and optimisation of fund accounting systems; automate NAV packs, reconciliations and reporting
• Build, supervise, train and review the fund accounting team.

Please note: investor onboarding, KYC and client servicing sit with a separate Fund Operations team. This seat partners with that function but does not own it.

Three mandatory gates: Chartered Accountant (non-CA candidates will not be considered), Big 4 experience (articleship and/or post-qualification), and AIF environment experience. Chartered Accountant - mandatory. Additional CFA or MBA (Finance) is an advantage, not a substitute. Big 4 experience mandatory.
