Responsibilities

Perform functional, system integration, regression, and API testing for Trade Finance applications.
Validate end-to-end workflows across Trade Finance products including LC, Collections, Bank Guarantees, SBLC, Amendments and Charges Processing.
Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Execute manual test cases and document results.
Validate SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 messages for trade transactions.
Conduct API testing using REST/SOAP and Postman.
Perform SQL-based backend validation and data verification.
Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA/ALM/Octane.
Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage AI-assisted testing techniques.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Functional Tester - Trade Finance to join our Banking & Financial Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing end-to-end functional, integration, and API testing for Trade Finance applications, ensuring seamless processing of trade transactions and compliance with business requirements.

The candidate should possess strong knowledge of Trade Finance products, testing methodologies, and banking workflows, with the ability to validate complex transaction lifecycles and collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Perform functional, system integration, regression, and API testing for Trade Finance applications.
Validate end-to-end workflows across Trade Finance products, including:
- Letters of Credit (LC)
- Collections
- Bank Guarantees
- Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC)
- Amendments and Charges Processing
Analyze business requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Execute manual test cases and document test results.
Validate SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 messages for trade transactions.
Conduct API testing using REST/SOAP services and tools such as Postman.
Perform SQL-based backend validation and data verification.
Identify, log, track, and manage defects using JIRA, ALM, or Octane.
Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery.
Leverage AI-assisted testing techniques for test design, coverage analysis, and quality improvements.
