Job summary

Novature Tech in Mumbai seeks experienced Manual Test Engineers with strong Trade Finance knowledge, especially LC, to join our testing team for banking applications. You will handle test planning, case preparation, execution, defect management, and end-to-end validation of Trade Finance functionalities.

Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, designing test data, performing end-to-end manual tests, and coordinating defect resolution with developers and business teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of manual testing experience.
• Minimum 2 years in Trade Finance.
• LC knowledge is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of banking/financial applications.
• Experience in test case design, execution, defect tracking and reporting.
• Experience in functional and regression testing.

• Validate Trade Finance workflows, transactions, and business rules.

• Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and retesting activities.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects using defect management tools.
• Perform defect analysis and coordinate with developers/business teams for resolution.
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs and clarification sessions with business and functional teams.
• Ensure adequate test coverage and timely completion of testing activities.
• Prepare test execution status, defect reports, and testing metrics.
• Support UAT and production release validation activities when required.
