Qualifications

• Experience in Backend/System Testing, focusing on Capital Markets workflows and core system validations.
• Proficient in SQL/Database testing and data integrity checks across trading platforms.
• Ability to validate FIX Protocol messages including order lifecycle and trade-related messages.

Responsibilities

• Perform Backend/System Testing of Capital Markets applications with emphasis on business logic validation.
• Validate end-to-end trading workflows across frontend and backend systems.
• Analyze requirements and design test scenarios and cases.
• Execute Integration, System & Regression Testing across multiple interfaces.
• Validate FIX Protocol messages and lifecycle events.
• Log, track and verify defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with BAs, Devs, and QA to ensure coverage.
• Participate in requirement discussions and quality improvements.
• Proactively address testing challenges to support delivery in dynamic environments.

We are seeking a hands-on QA Engineer with strong experience in Capital Markets application testing, particularly in Backend/System Testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of trading workflows, backend validations, FIX protocol messaging, and Capital Markets business processes. The candidate must be proactive, adaptable, and capable of independently managing complex testing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Backend/System Testing of Capital Markets applications, focusing on business logic validation and core system functionality.
• Understand and validate end-to-end trading workflows across frontend and backend systems.
• Analyze business and functional requirements and design effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute Integration, System, and Regression Testing across multiple applications and interfaces.
• Validate FIX Protocol messages, including order lifecycle and trade-related transactions.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects through closure.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in requirement discussions and contribute to quality improvements throughout the SDLC.
• Proactively address testing challenges and support project delivery in dynamic environments.
