Job summary

Transsight Software in Pune is seeking a Software Tester with 3–7 years of experience to perform manual functional testing across mobile (iOS & Android), web and desktop apps. This role also covers API testing, SQL queries, and test data creation.

You will design test cases, log defects with clear steps, and work in an Agile environment to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and deadline orientation are essential as you collaborate with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/MCA.
• 3–7 years of software testing experience (manual functional testing).
• 2+ years API testing experience.
• Testing mobile apps (iOS & Android), web and desktop apps.
• Strong defect logging with steps, screenshots and logs.
• Experience with SQL queries and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand clients' requirements and translate them into test cases.
• Design test cases, steps and data for tests.
• Test mobile applications (iOS & Android).
• Test web applications and desktop software.
• Thoroughly test deliverables with quality in time.
• Execute tests and prepare execution reports.

Skills / Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering /Technology / MCA
2. 3 to 7 years of software testing experience (Manual functional testing.
3. 2+ years of API testing experience.
4. Experience in testing mobile (both iOS & Android app), desktop and web applications.
5. Good at Mobile app testing (both iOS & Android app)
6. Ability to analyse the requirements properly.
7. Design test cases, test steps and test data.
8. Good at logging defects with clear steps to reproduce, screen shots and logs.
9. Knowledge and hands on experience of working on SQL queries.
10. Experience of working in Agile.
11. Good at logical thinking and problem solving.
12. Ability to meet the deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
13. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
