Job summary

Maximum CTC: Up to ₹7 LPA (based on current CTC and experience)

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days maximum

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Functional Tester with strong domain knowledge in Loans, Lending, Loan Origination Systems (LOS), and Loan Management Systems (LMS) to join a banking project in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in functional testing of loan and lending applications, a good understanding of banking processes, and the ability to validate end‑to‑end loan workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of banking applications related to loans and lending.
• Test Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and Loan Management Systems (LMS) across various business workflows.
• Validate end-to-end loan processes, including application initiation, credit assessment, approval, disbursement, repayment, and loan closure.
• Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Validate loan calculations, interest rates, repayment schedules, EMI calculations, and other lending‑related functionalities.
• Ensure applications comply with business requirements and banking process standards.
• Prepare test execution reports and maintain testing documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in software testing, with strong experience in functional testing.
• Good domain knowledge of banking, loans, lending, LOS, and LMS.
• Hands‑on experience in testing loan origination and loan servicing/management workflows.
• Strong understanding of loan lifecycle processes, EMI calculations, interest calculations, disbursement, and repayment.
• Experience in test case preparation, test execution, defect reporting, and defect lifecycle management.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Candidates must be willing to work from the office in Chennai.
• Maximum acceptable CTC: ₹7 LPA, depending on current CTC and experience.
• Notice period should not exceed 30 days.
• Candidates with relevant banking and lending domain experience will be preferred.
