Job summary

Birlasoft in India is seeking an experienced QA Lead for testing across Order to Cash and related modules. You will guide a 10+ member QA team, design comprehensive test strategies, and ensure alignment with business processes.

Strong knowledge of Sales order entry, consignments, pricing, service/warranty, and logistics is required, along with hands-on Azure DevOps experience and workshop facilitation. This role focuses on end-to-end QA in large full-cycle implementations.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of testing experience with at least 3+ years on Order to Cash Functional Consultant and other modules.
• Knowledge of Sales order entry, Consignment Process, Advance Pricing, Service and warranty management, Logistics, Sales Inquiry, and sales order reports.
• Experience in leading or managing a 10+ member QA team or managing the careers of direct reports at different levels of career development.
• Experience in a full cycle implementation and in support projects.
• Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective.
• Facilitate the implementation and support of JDE Modules.
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements.
• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA activities across Order to Cash and related modules.
• Define and execute test strategies and plans for SAP/JDE cross-functional projects.
• Coordinate test case design, reviews, and defect management.
• Oversee test execution with a 10+ member QA team.
• Collaborate with business teams to ensure alignment with processes.
• Support Azure DevOps workflows for CI/CD and test automation.
• Participate in workshops to gather requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Provide detailed analysis and documentation of requirements.

Area(s) of responsibility

• Overall, 5-7 years of experience in testing with at least 3+ years on Order to Cash Functional Consultant and other modules.


• Sound knowledge of Sales order entry, Consignment Process, Advance Pricing, Service and warranty management, Logistics, Sales Inquiry, and sales order reports


• Working knowledge of interfaces


• Sound knowledge of Inventory setup, Daily processing, Costing and Planning modules, Periodic processing and Global updates and purges.


• Experience in leading or managing a 10+ member QA team or managing the careers of direct reports at different levels of career development.


• Good Experience and Knowledge on Test Management, Test Strategy and Testing Methodologies


• Experience on Test Case Desing, Reviews and Defect Management


• Handson Experience on Azzure Devops is preferable.


• Minimum of 3-5years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects


• Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective.
