Job summary

Vbeyond Corporation is seeking an experienced JDE Functional Consultant / Business Analyst to translate business needs into functional JD Edwards solutions. The role requires hands‑on BA capabilities, documentation, and strong testing involvement across Finance, Distribution, and Manufacturing modules.

The candidate should have experience in JDE implementation, support, upgrades or enhancements and be able to collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure end‑to‑end solution validation.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst.
• Experience in JDE implementation, support, upgrade or enhancement projects.
• Solid understanding of JDE business processes and functional modules.
• Ability to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and communicate with business users.

Business Analysis

Job description

We are looking for an experienced JDE Functional Consultant / Business Analyst with strong expertise in Oracle JD Edwards (JDE) functional areas and hands‑on experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and functional testing. The ideal candidate should have worked in JDE implementation, support, enhancement, or upgrade projects and possess a good understanding of testing processes to support end‑to‑end solution validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a JDE Functional Consultant / Business Analyst to understand business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project teams to analyze, document, and deliver JDE solutions.
• Provide functional expertise in relevant JDE modules such as:
  • Finance (FICO)
  • Distribution (Sales, Procurement, Inventory)
  • Manufacturing
  • Projects / Asset Management (as applicable)
• Gather and analyze business requirements, prepare functional specifications, and support solution design.
• Perform functional configuration, process analysis, and issue resolution in JDE environments.
• Participate in testing activities including:
  • Test planning and preparation
  • Creation and execution of test scenarios and test cases
  • Functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Defect identification, documentation, tracking, and validation
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure business requirements are validated and solutions meet expected outcomes.
• Support production issues, enhancements, and change requests.
• Prepare process documentation, user guides, and training materials where required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst.
• Experience working on JDE implementation, support, upgrade, or enhancement projects.
• Good understanding of JDE business processes and functional modules.
• Ability to gather requirements, conduct workshops, and communicate effectively with business users.
• Experience in preparing functional documents and process flows.
• Knowledge and experience in functional testing activities is required.
• Ability to create test cases, execute test scenarios, analyze results, and coordinate defect resolution.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Exposure to JDE tools, workflows, integrations, or reporting.
• Experience supporting UAT cycles and business validation activities.
• Prior experience working as a JDE Business Analyst with testing responsibilities is highly desirable.
