Job summary

Tuv in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Project Leader Functional Safety to manage SIL-related activities and ensure compliance with IEC/EN 61508 and IEC/EN 61511 standards. You will lead verification/calculation tasks, coordinate with clients, and drive on-time project delivery, including site visits and reporting.

The role requires hands-on experience with exSILentia, strong communication skills, and the ability to read P&I diagrams and HazOp/SIL reports.

Qualifications

• Understand safety functions/loops; read SIL/Hazop data and classifications.
• Be able to prepare technical offers for safety projects.
• Perform SIL verifications and calculations per IEC/EN 61508 & IEC/EN 61511.
• Gather input data required for SIL verification using prescribed forms.
• Prepare verification reports and provide SIL improvement recommendations.

Responsibilities
