Job summary

msg global solutions is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our reinsu rance-focused consulting practice. The role collaborates with project teams and client stakeholders to deliver SICS and SAP for Reinsurance solutions.

You will analyze and document reinsurance processes, design integrated IT landscapes, lead UAT, and guide transition roadmaps while travel up to 80% to client sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in business consulting and package-based implementations.
• Strong knowledge of reinsurance processes for P&C lines.
• Experience with integrated IT architectures and SICS/SAP implementations (ASAP).
• Ability to manage complex initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Excellent analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
• Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders.

What you will do

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will collaborate closely with msg global project teams and customer stakeholders to deliver SICS and/or SAP for reinsurance implementations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing, specifying, testing, and documenting reinsurance business processes
• Designing integrated and sustainable system landscapes
• Participating in process flow analysis, redesign, and business process optimization
• Designing transition maps, roadmaps, implementation, integration, and migration strategies
• Leading feasibility studies and supporting architectural design decisions
• Providing functional consulting expertise to reinsurance clients
• Defining best practices and evaluating third‑party solution alternatives as part of functional design documents
• Coordinating with business process owners and technical teams to design, customize, and implement SICS and/or SAP for Reinsurance solutions
• Facilitating resolution of complex issues during implementation
• Leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts
• Participating in training, design, documentation, and delivery activities in alignment with the Project Manager
• Contributing to internal projects as required
• Traveling to client locations up to 80% of the time

What we are looking for

• We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated professional with strong domain and/or consulting skills, including:
• Excellent knowledge of Reinsurance business processes, particularly for P&C lines of business
• Several years of experience in business consulting and package‑based implementation projects
• Strong understanding of integrated IT architectures and SICS and/or SAP implementation methodologies (e.g., ASAP)
• Ability to manage complex initiatives with minimal supervision
• Very strong analytical, conceptual, and problem‑solving skills
• A proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
• Strong customer focus and a service‑oriented, self‑driven approach to work
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience working directly with clients, business stakeholders, and functional teams
• SICS or SAP for reinsurance knowledge is an added advantage
