Job summary

Eizen in Bengaluru is seeking a QA/SDET to define and execute test strategies across UI, APIs, backend services and AI workflows. You will build automated UI tests with Playwright or Cypress for React + TypeScript apps and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities include API/integration and performance testing, validating AI/LLM workflows, debugging across frontend and backend, and contributing to automation frameworks.

Role & Responsibilities

• Define and execute test strategies across UI, APIs, backend services, and AI workflows.
• Build and maintain automated UI tests using Playwright or Cypress for React + TypeScript applications.
• Develop reusable test automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform API, integration, performance, and load testing.
• Validate AI/LLM applications, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and tool/function execution.
• Debug issues across frontend and backend systems and work closely with developers.
• Contribute to frontend/backend development using TypeScript or Python when required.
• Validate authentication, authorization, API security, and common security scenarios.
• Support production quality through logging, monitoring, test reporting, and defect analysis.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 3 to 5 years of experience in QA, SDET, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience testing React + TypeScript web applications.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript or Python.
• Hands‑on experience with API and integration testing.
• Experience building automated tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of performance/load testing using k6, JMeter, or Locust.
• Exposure to AI/LLM applications, RAG, Agentic AI, or AI workflow testing.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.

Nice to Have

• React, TypeScript, Python, or FastAPI development experience.
• LangSmith or DeepEval experience.
• Vector databases and retrieval systems.
• Docker and cloud environments.
• Datadog, Prometheus, or similar monitoring tools.
• OWASP and security testing knowledge.
