Job summary

Topgear Consultants seeks a Senior AI QA Automation Engineer in Bengaluru to scale AI-enabled testing across digital platforms. You will leverage GenAI/LLM to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and release quality, focusing on Web/API and mobile testing.

The role combines strong QA automation with SDET expertise and collaboration across QA, software engineering, and DevOps to enable continuous testing and faster releases.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET / Test Automation.
• Strong programming in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on with Selenium or Playwright.
• API Automation experience with REST Assured / Postman.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• Experience testing Web and API apps; mobile/desktop testing exposure preferred.
• GenAI, LLMs, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or AI-assisted testing exposure.
• Excellent understanding of Agile, test strategy, automation frameworks, and quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web, API, and Mobile applications.
• Develop automation using Selenium, Playwright, Appium, and REST Assured.
• Apply GenAI/LLM technologies for test data creation, failure analysis, and test optimization.
• Build Python, Java, or JavaScript utilities to integrate AI into QA workflows.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
• Analyze test results, logs, and telemetry to identify flaky tests and root causes.
• Improve automation coverage, stability, execution efficiency, and test prioritization.

Required Skills

• 5- 8 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET / Test Automation.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium or Playwright.
• Strong experience in API Automation / REST Assured / Postman.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
• Experience testing Web and API applications, with Mobile/Desktop testing exposure preferred.
• Hands-on experience or strong exposure to GenAI, LLMs, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or AI-assisted testing.
• Good understanding of Agile methodology, test strategy, automation frameworks, and Quality Engineering.

Good to Have

• Experience with AI-driven testing / self-healing automation.

• Experience with Azure Application Insights, logs, telemetry, or observability tools.
• Exposure to performance, reliability, or resilience testing.
