Job summary

ZOUK, a tech services agency in India, seeks a full-stack engineer with 1+ years of hands-on Node.js and React experience to ship real features for real clients. You’ll join a small, senior-led team where questions are welcomed and code is reviewed thoroughly.

You’ll build React front ends and Node.js back ends, design REST APIs, and work with databases. Expect collaboration in agile sprints, emphasis on clean code, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience building web applications with Node.js and React
• Solid JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+); TypeScript familiarity is a plus
• Experience with at least one database (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Comfortable with Git and standard collaborative workflows (branches, pull requests)
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
• Ability to write clear, concise communication — you'll be talking to clients occasionally
• Curiosity and a willingness to work across multiple projects and problem domains

Responsibilities

About the role

We're a tech services agency that builds web products for clients across various domains. No two projects look the same, which means you'll get more variety in a year here than most engineers see in three.

We're looking for a full-stack engineer with about a year of hands‑on experience in Node.js and React who wants to ship real features for real clients, learn fast, and grow into owning larger pieces of a codebase. You'll work in a small, senior‑led team where your questions are welcome and your code gets reviewed properly.
