Qualifications

• Strong understanding of React components, props, state, hooks, context, and routing.
• Experience with state management using Zustand/Redux or similar tools.
• Type-safe development using TypeScript and REST API integration.
• Knowledge of responsive, accessible UI and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with building REST APIs using Node.js and Express/NestJS.
• Working with databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL; MongoDB a plus.
• Authentication/authorization using JWT or sessions and basic security awareness.
• Testing basics with Jest/Vitest; E2E testing with Playwright/Cypress is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker, GitHub Actions, and basic DevOps concepts.
• Ability to convert designs (Figma) to functional interfaces and own features.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive and maintainable web applications using React.

Role & responsibilities

Frontend Development

• Build responsive and maintainable web applications using React
• Strong understanding of components, props, state, hooks, context, and routing
• State management using Zustand/Redux or similar tools
• Integrate REST APIs and handle loading, error, pagination, and form states
• Type-safe development using TypeScript
• Responsive and cross-browser development
• Basic performance optimization such as lazy loading, code splitting, and memoization
• Ability to convert Figma designs into clean, functional interfaces
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, accessibility, and UI/UX

Backend Development

• Build REST APIs using Node.js with Express.js / NestJS
• Strong understanding of async/await, Promises, and error handling
• Implement CRUD operations with proper validation
• Design clean and reusable API structures
• Work with PostgreSQL / MySQL and understand database relationships and schema design
• Basic knowledge of indexing and query optimization
• Experience with MongoDB is a plus
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT or sessions
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services
• Basic understanding of caching and background jobs is a plus

Architecture & Systems

• Basic understanding of modular architecture, API design, caching, and scalability
• WebSockets / SSE and microservices are a plus

Cloud & DevOps

• Basic Linux and environment variable knowledge

Testing & Quality

• Basic unit/integration testing with Jest / Vitest

• Good debugging and clean coding practices

Security

• Basic understanding of authentication, authorization, XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, and CORS
• Familiarity with OWASP best practices is a plus

AI Integration (Nice to Have)

• Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM APIs is a plus
• RAG, embeddings, and AI streaming experience is a plus

• Has built and deployed 12 complete full stack applications
• Comfortable with REST APIs, authentication, and Git
