Unico Connect is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to own features end-to-end across React or Next.js frontends and Node.js or Python backends. The role spans UI implementation, API design, database schema work, and the deployment discipline to ship reliably. The position is well suited to early-career engineers who enjoy moving across the stack and care about both pixel-precision and database integrity.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features spanning React or Next.js frontends and Node.js or Python backends
• Design and implement database schemas in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Integrate third-party APIs and SDKs
• Write tests across the stack including Vitest, Jest, and Playwright
• Deploy to Vercel, GCP, or AWS through CI/CD pipelines
• Polish frontend UI to match designer specs; collaborate with designers during dev-mode handoff
• Pair with senior engineers on architecture decisions and code reviews
• Participate in incident response rotations for owned services and frontends
• Maintain technical documentation for owned features and integrations
• Contribute to internal full-stack templates, generators, and shared libraries

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years building full-stack apps in production
• Strong React with Next.js and TypeScript
• Backend experience with Node.js (NestJS, Fastify, or Express) or Python (FastAPI)
• SQL fundamentals on PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Comfort with Git, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of HTTP, REST, and async patterns
• Working knowledge of state management with TanStack Query, Zustand, or Redux Toolkit
