Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking engineers to design, build, and operate cloud-first back-end services in Hyderabad. You will implement secure authentication, develop Python REST APIs, and manage AWS-based data pipelines using Step Functions and Glue.

Your role includes containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, IaC with Terraform, and observability across distributed systems. Candidate should be proficient in AWS services (S3, Aurora, Lambda, CloudFront) and comfortable with data modeling, CI/CD,

Qualifications

• Experience implementing authentication/authorization (OAuth2 / OIDC) and JWT tokens.
• Solid Python experience building REST APIs and back-end services.
• Hands-on AWS experience across S3, Aurora, AWS Glue, Lambda, and CloudFront.
• Experience with relational databases and data modeling (Aurora / PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Build and tune content delivery with Amazon CloudFront, including SPA/static asset delivery, caching behaviors, deep-link handling, and edge functions.
• Develop and maintain Python back-end services and REST APIs that are secure, performant, and well-tested.
• Build and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS, with hands-on use of S3, Aurora (PostgreSQL), Step Functions, AWS Glue, Lambda, and Caching services.
• Design data pipelines and orchestration using Step Functions and Glue for ETL, data processing, and workflow automation.
• Design and model relational data on Aurora, with attention to performance, integrity, and security.
• Deploy and support containerized services on EKS, working with the gateway and Istio service mesh (JWT validation, mTLS).
• Containerize and deploy services and support CI/CD pipelines for reliable, repeatable releases.
• Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code to provision and manage environments.
• Implement observability - logging, metrics, and tracing to monitor health and troubleshoot issues.
• Write clean, maintainable code following secure coding and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, security, and fellow engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and delivery planning.
