HTC Global Services in Bengaluru is seeking a cloud-first software engineer to build scalable back-end services and secure REST APIs using Python. You will architect and tune AWS-based data pipelines, manage S3 data stores, and implement CI/CD and IaC practices.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with CloudFront, Aurora/PostgreSQL, Step Functions, Glue, Lambda, Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio service mesh.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing authentication/authorization (OAuth2/OIDC) and JWT.
• Strong Python experience building REST APIs and back-end services.
• Hands-on AWS experience across S3, Aurora, AWS Glue, Lambda, and CloudFront.
• Experience with relational databases and data modeling (Aurora / PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Terraform.

Responsabilités

• Build and tune content delivery with Amazon CloudFront, including SPA assets, caching, deep links, and edge functions.
• Develop and maintain Python back-end services and REST APIs that are secure, performant, and well-tested.
• Build and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS, with hands-on use of S3, Aurora (PostgreSQL), Step Functions, AWS Glue, Lambda, and Caching services.
• Design data pipelines and orchestration using Step Functions and Glue for ETL, data processing, and workflow automation.
• Design and model relational data on Aurora, with attention to performance, integrity, and security.
• Deploy and support containerized services on EKS, working with the gateway and Istio service mesh (JWT validation, mTLS).
• Containerize and deploy services and support CI/CD pipelines for reliable, repeatable releases.
• Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code to provision and manage environments.
• Implement observability - logging, metrics, and tracing to monitor health and troubleshoot issues.
• Write clean, maintainable code following secure coding and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, security, and fellow engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and delivery planning.

Required Skills

• Hands‑on experience implementing authentication/authorization (OAuth2 / OIDC) and working knowledge of JWT tokens.
• Solid Python experience building REST APIs and back‑end services.
• Hands‑on AWS experience across S3, Aurora, AWS Glue, Lambda, and CloudFront.
• Experience with relational databases and data modeling (Aurora / PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).

Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of AI/LLM technologies (Prompt engineering, RAG, or integrating AI/ML services into applications).
• Experience with Kubernetes, API gateways, or service mesh technologies.
• Background in multi-tenant or SaaS platforms.
• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments.
