Job summary

Team Geek Solutions is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a cross-functional team building next-generation applications. You’ll work with DevOps, QA and Front-End ReactJS specialists on Java/Kotlin services hosted in AWS, with CI/CD and infrastructure tooling in scope.

You’ll contribute across the full development life cycle—from design and planning to implementation, testing, and deployment—driving quality, performance, and scalable architectures in Maharashtra, India.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in full-stack development with Kotlin/Java and AWS.
• 5+ years building APIs for front-end apps.
• 5+ years working with PostgreSQL or MySQL and large data sets.
• 2+ years using CI/CD tooling and IaC (CircleCI, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Build features to collect, moderate, and deliver user-generated content.
• Become expert on multiple solutions and code areas.
• Participate in technical brainstorming and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Collaborate across teams to build a holistic experience.
• Identify pain points and proactively tackle tech debt.

About The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, become part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Project Description: Client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer will work closely with other engineers of varying disciplines (DevOps, QA, Front-End ReactJS, etc), product, as well as other parts of the organization. They craft applications in Java/Kotlin, leveraging AWS, CircleCI, and Terraform. We are always looking to adopt modern technology to solve business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Build out features and solutions to collect, moderate, and/or deliver user-generated content to our customers
• Become an expert on multiple of our solutions and areas of our codebase, while understanding the larger architecture of our entire suite of solutions
• Participate in technical brainstorming and knowledge transfer sessions; provide technical advice at a team level and a department level
• Communicate across teams by collaborating with fellow engineers, product managers, UX designers, operations, and other development teams to build a holistic experience
• Proactively identify pain points and potential issues within our architecture and code base, and proactively tackle tech debt
• Contribute to each step of the product development process, from ideation and design, to planning and architecting, to building out the solution and infrastructure, to testing, to releasing, and maintenance
• Participate, build, and implement department CI/CD, application monitoring, security, and general developer tooling initiatives
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-stack application development in our language stack (Kotlin, Java) and with AWS
• 5+ years of experience developing APIs for front-end applications
• 5+ years of strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and large data sets
• 2+ years of experience leveraging and maintaining CI/CD tooling (CircleCI, Drone, GitHub Actions)
• 2+ years of experience leveraging infrastructure as code using Terraform
