Job Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer – Lead with 6–8 years of experience to lead the development of scalable, high‑performance web applications. This role is expected to be approximately 60% hands‑on architecture and development and 40% focused on mentoring, process governance, and cross‑functional leadership. In this role, you will take ownership of both frontend and backend engineering, make architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure quality delivery across the software lifecycle. You will collaborate with product owners, UX/UI teams, QA, and DevOps to deliver impactful solutions.

Technical Leadership

Lead the design, development, and deployment of full stack applications.
Establish and govern a scalable, secure microservices architecture that aligns with key business objectives for speed and reliability.
Drive and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for engineering efficiency, including reduced system latency, improved deployment frequency, and code quality benchmarks.
Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Backend Development

Design and develop backend services using Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, or equivalent frameworks.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and service‑oriented or microservices architectures.
Own the stability and performance of production systems, targeting 75% uptime and a p95 latency under 100 milliseconds.

Frontend Development

Develop responsive, user‑friendly interfaces using Angular, React, or equivalent modern frontend frameworks.
Integrate frontend with backend APIs and optimize for performance and accessibility.

DevOps & Quality

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
Oversee the cloud infrastructure and architecture, ensuring high availability and cost‑efficiency on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Support deployments, monitoring, and application performance tuning.
Champion automated testing practices and quality engineering principles.

Agile & Collaboration

Participate in Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and demos.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to project planning and execution.

Required Skills & Experience

6–8 years in software development with a strong track record of designing and building full stack applications.
Demonstrated experience in a lead or senior technical role, mentoring teams and driving projects.

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in backend development with Java (Spring Boot) or other backend languages/frameworks.
Hands‑on experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Expertise in building and integrating REST APIs and service‑oriented systems.
Clean coding practices, familiarity with object‑oriented design, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
Database experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and optionally NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools and practices.
Expertise in modern containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE/EKS) is essential.
Deep understanding of application security best practices, including the OWASP Top 10, and experience integrating security scanning tools into the CI/CD pipeline.
