Job summary

Traction Shastra, a Mumbai-based AI-powered automation startup, is seeking a Full Stack Developer Intern to ship real code to real users. You’ll work on live products, not be stuck in a sandbox, with a team that reviews your work and helps you improve. Role lasts 3 months with a monthly stipend of ₹3,000.

Hybrid location at Malad (West), Mumbai. No degree required; if you show you can build, there’s a path to stay on full-time or part-time during studies.

Qualifications

• Strong basics in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Frontend framework experience (React/Next.js).
• Backend knowledge (Node.js) and how data is stored/retrieved in a DB.

India is about to get a serious software upgrade. Want to write the code?

Somewhere in India right now, a business owner is copying numbers from one spreadsheet into another. By hand. For the fourth time this week.

We find that kind of pain, and we build software that makes it disappear. Traction Shastra builds AI-powered automation, custom platforms and intelligent workflows for Indian businesses — the kind of tech that turns "we've always done it this way" into "wait, it just does that now?"

We're a small, fast team in Mumbai, and we're looking for Full Stack Developer Interns who want to ship real code to real users — not fetch coffee, not fix typos in a README nobody reads.

The deal, in 10 seconds

Role: Full Stack Developer Intern

Duration: 3 months

Stipend: ₹3,000 per month

Location: Malad (West), Mumbai — hybrid

The real prize is month four. Interns who prove themselves get an offer to keep building with us:

• Still studying full time? Join us part time and keep shipping alongside your degree.
• Done with college? Come on board full time.

Three months is the audition. Your code is the résumé.

What you'll actually build

You won't be stuck in a sandbox. You'll work on products that go live, with a team that reviews your code and tells you honestly how to make it better.

• Frontends people enjoy using. Clean, fast, responsive interfaces that work as well on a ₹10,000 phone as on a MacBook.
• Backends that don't flinch. APIs, databases and business logic that handle real data from real businesses.
• AI that does real work. Wire AI models into products so they read documents, answer questions and automate the boring stuff.
• Integrations that connect the dots. Hook our platforms up to the tools Indian businesses already use.
• Bugs, hunted. Find them, squash them, and write the fix so they never come back.

By day 90 you should be able to point at something on a live screen and say, "I built that."

You'll fit right in if…

You already know your way around:

• HTML, CSS and JavaScript — the holy trinity
• At least one frontend framework, like React or Next.js
• A backend of some kind, like Node.js, and how a database stores and returns data
• Git, enough that "merge conflict" doesn't make you sweat

Bonus points (not dealbreakers) if you:

• Have played with AI APIs or built a chatbot for fun
• Have a GitHub profile, side project or hackathon win you're proud of
• Have ever automated something just to avoid doing it twice

And most importantly, you:

• Google it, try it, break it, fix it — before asking
• Care whether the thing you built actually works for the person using it
• Want to learn faster in 3 months than most people do in a year

No degree requirement. No minimum CGPA. Show us you can build, and that's enough.

Level 1: Enter the arena

Forget the "send us your CV and we'll get back to you in 6–8 weeks" routine. Here, you play your way in.

read every question twice, show your reasoning, and don't panic if you don't know something — how you approach a problem matters as much as the answer.
