Job summary

TD SYNNEX is seeking an Application Developer to design, build, test, and support software solutions across multi-tier architectures. You will analyze requirements, code and configure components, and ensure compliance with standards while coordinating change control and testing.

The role includes documentation, stakeholder communication, and rapid learning of new systems to support business needs across TD SYNNEX’s units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MIS.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Able to execute instructions and request clarification when needed.
• Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.

• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.

• Prepares required documentation.
• Ensures programming/configuration adheres to corporate standards and manages version control of deliverables.
• Ensures applications are developed in line with architectural standards and practices.
• Performs test planning, string testing results, and regression/integration testing.
• Develops business relationships and coordinates with other IT departments for project success.
• Creates impact and design documents translating requirements into system design.

Job Purpose

The Application Developer’s role is to use intermediate experience and knowledge of different programming languages to create and maintain programs and applications. Individuals in this role will collect research data from a variety of sources, analyze, and recommend courses of action to take. This includes the analysis of requirements and functional specifications to design, build, test, implement and support corrections and or enhancements. The role is expected to develop integrated solutions aligned with TD SYNNEX’s business units utilizing robust computing architectures in a multi-tier environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes business requirements across multiple business areas including the evaluation of application software packages.
• Devises and modifies procedures to solve business problems.
• Codes and configures application components and interfaces Coordinates and schedules change control and production verification processes.
• Prepares required documentation.
• Ensures that all programming / configuration adheres to corporate standards, and all integration issues are identified and addressed, as well as version control of deliverables.
• Ensures business applications are developed in a way that complies with architectural standards and established methodologies and practices.
• Performs additional duties as assigned Prepares test plans, certifies string testing results, and performs regression and integration testing across applications.
• Develops business relationships and integrates activities with other IT departments to ensure successful implementation and support project efforts.
• Creates impact and details design documents, translating requirements into an appropriate system design and version control of deliverables.

• 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience.
