Persistent is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to build modern, scalable digital platforms in Bengaluru. You will develop full-stack applications using React on the frontend and Java on the backend, while weaving in AI capabilities through LLM APIs and RAG-based approaches to create intelligent solutions.

You will collaborate with data engineers and architects, implement secure access controls, and deliver robust REST/GraphQL services.

Qualifications

• Strong frontend with React, TS, HTML5, CSS3.
• Backend in Java Spring Boot or Python FastAPI/Flask.
• Experience building REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic).

About Position:

This role involves developing modern full stack applications using React and Java, while integrating AI capabilities such as LLM APIs and RAG-based solutions to build scalable, secure, and intelligent digital platforms.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop full-stack applications using React (frontend) and Java (backend)
• Integrate AI capabilities such as: LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Agent tool invocation
• Build REST / GraphQL APIs for AI and non-AI services
• Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data access
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects on AI workflows

Expertise You’ll Bring:

• Strong experience in frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Proficiency in backend development using Java (Spring Boot) or Python (FastAPI / Flask)
• Hands-on experience in designing and building REST and GraphQL APIs with JSON-based communication
• Experience in integrating AI capabilities using LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent-based tool invocation
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure data access practices
• Experience in building end-to-end full stack applications and integrating frontend with backend services
• Ability to collaborate with data engineers and architects for AI-driven workflows
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
