Persistent is seeking a Junior C# Full Stack Engineer to join our Pune engineering team. You will contribute to modern, scalable web applications using React, .NET Core, and C#.

The role spans frontend, backend, cloud, and DevOps, in an Agile setting, with opportunities to learn cloud-native development. You will work across frontend, backend, and cloud services, participate in code reviews, write tests, and help maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern tools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 & CSS.
• Experience with C# and .NET Core is desirable.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of SQL Server or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive web interfaces using React, JS/TS.
• Build and test RESTful APIs for frontend/backend integration.
• Assist in backend development with C#/.NET Core.
• Support microservices development and CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway).

About Position:

We are looking for a Junior C# Full Stack Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of modern, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with React, .NET Core, C#, and web technologies, along with a strong desire to learn cloud-native development and modern software engineering practices. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work across frontend, backend, cloud, and DevOps technologies in an Agile environment.

What You'll Do:

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Build, consume, and test RESTful APIs for frontend and backend integrations.
• Assist in backend application development using C# and .NET Core.
• Support the development of microservices-based applications under guidance from senior engineers.
• Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.
• Write unit tests and support quality assurance and testing efforts.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Monitor application performance and health using logging and monitoring tools.
• Work with SQL Server and NoSQL databases to support application functionality.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and engineering practices.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of C# and .NET Core.
• Hands-on experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and web service integrations.
• Basic knowledge of SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
• Basic exposure to AWS cloud services.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to Microservices Architecture is a plus.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures using SNS and SQS is desirable.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts is an advantage.
• Awareness of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch and Splunk is a plus.
