Job summary

Religent Systems is seeking a software engineer to develop and maintain internal services, including a client portal for cloud metrics, logs, and billing data.

The role focuses on automating operations, building AI-assisted workflows, and delivering high-fidelity metrics through Grafana integrations. Strong skills in React/Node.js/Python, AWS/Azure, and GitHub/Terraform are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development, or demonstrated equivalent skill.
• Strong working knowledge of modern frameworks (React, Node.js, or Python) to build data-driven applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure services, particularly serverless (Lambda and Azure Functions).
• Practical experience building against LLM APIs or AWS Bedrock, including prompt design and tool calling.
• Experience with Grafana integration, embedding dashboards, and visualizing FinOps and NOC data.
• Proficient with GitHub and Terraform for version control and infrastructure management.
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal services, including the client portal presenting cloud metrics, application logs, and billing data.
• Reduce manual work for the operations team through runbook automation, reporting pipelines, and ticket enrichment, working from requirements supplied by the senior operations seat.
• Build AI-assisted workflows using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, or comparable services for incident summarization and documentation.
• Integrate Grafana and the CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and PRTG APIs to deliver high-fidelity operational metrics.
• During the shift, monitor alert channels as secondary coverage, perform documented Level 1 actions, and elevate per runbook.
• Present and demonstrate delivered tooling particularly the client portal — to non-technical client stakeholders.
• Maintain strict discipline using GitHub for code and Terraform for infrastructure, with clear records of architecture and API schemas.
