Job description

The FTE - Trainee will support OSD packing operations, basic production activities, documentation assistance, material handling, line support, and GMP learning at Zydus Lifesciences, Ahmedabad. This is suitable for freshers with 0–1 year of experience and requires ITI, Diploma, or B.Sc qualification.

• Assist packing team in OSD packing activities under senior supervision.
• Support blister packing, bottle packing, labeling, carton packing, and material movement activities.
• Learn and follow GMP, GDP, hygiene, safety, and production area discipline.
• Assist in line clearance, area cleaning, material verification, and batch preparation activities.
• Help maintain basic packing records, logbooks, checklist entries, and documentation under guidance.
• Support packing material arrangement, product handling, and reconciliation work.
• Coordinate with seniors, QA, production, warehouse, and engineering teams as instructed.
• Report any material mismatch, machine issue, safety concern, or process abnormality to seniors.
• Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the packing area.
• Participate in training, SOP understanding, and shop floor compliance activities.
• Develop practical knowledge of pharmaceutical OSD packing operations.
• Support safe, timely, and quality-focused production workflow.
