Job summary

DECTIFY, an AI-powered security company, is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer intern based in New Delhi or remotely within India. You will transform design systems into pixel-perfect interfaces, contribute to frontend architecture, and ensure accessible and performant experiences under pressure.

You will implement responsive interfaces, optimize load behaviour, and build reusable components while adhering to design fidelity and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS, with modern frontend principles.
• Experience with React.js or similar component-based framework.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling JSON in the browser.
• Understanding of performance techniques and accessibility standards.
• Portfolio of interfaces from real design files is a plus.

• Implement responsive interfaces from the design system and faithfully reproduce the design fidelity.
• Optimize frontend performance and loading across devices and networks.

As a Frontend Software Engineer intern you build responsive, high-performance interfaces for a product people rely on under pressure. You turn product flows into pixel-accurate, production-ready screens, and you help build a frontend architecture that grows one module at a time.

This role is offered as an internship and is based in New Delhi, or remote within India.

Implement responsive interfaces from the design system, at the fidelity the design intended.

Optimise frontend performance and load behaviour across devices and networks.

Build reusable component libraries other engineers can pick up without asking.

Hold the line on accessibility and usability standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML and CSS, and a clear understanding of modern frontend development principles.
• Experience with React.js or a similar component-based framework.
• Comfort integrating REST APIs and handling JSON data in the browser.
• Understanding of performance techniques such as lazy loading and efficient rendering, along with basic accessibility standards.
• Experience converting Figma designs into production-ready interfaces.
• Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications

• A portfolio of interfaces built from real design files.
• Understanding of mobile-first design.
• Familiarity with animation and transition work.
• Exposure to performance profiling in the browser.
• Interest in restrained, high-density interface systems.
