Must Have

• React - Strong fundamentals: hooks, component lifecycle, conditional rendering, state management
• Next.js - Familiar with App Router, pages, layouts, client vs server components
• TypeScript - Comfortable with types, interfaces, generics basics
• Tailwind CSS - Can build responsive layouts
• Git - Comfortable with branches, PRs, rebasing
• Open Source - Contributions to open source projects OR significant personal projects on GitHub

Nice to Have

• Experience with TanStack Query or SWR
• Familiarity with Jotai, Zustand, or Redux
• Understanding of REST APIs and data fetching patterns
