Job summary

Amaha in Mumbai is seeking a Frontend Engineering Intern who is eager to learn and build. You’ll work on real features with our engineering team, gain hands-on experience with a production codebase, and grow quickly in a supportive environment.

You’ll tackle frontend tasks using React.js, turn designs into working UI components, fix bugs, and write clean code while learning from code reviews. Exposure to Next.js, Chrome DevTools, REST APIs, and AI coding assistants is a plus.

Qualifications

• Solid grasp of web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and understanding of why things work
• Hands-on experience with React.js through personal projects, coursework, or open source
• Curious and eager to learn, asks questions, explores independently, enjoys problem solving
• Collaborative attitude, works well with others, communicates clearly, open to feedback
• Comfortable using Git for version control

What We're Looking For

• A solid grasp of web fundamentals - HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You should understand why things work, not just copy‑paste until they do
• Hands‑on experience with React.js (personal projects, coursework, or open source all count)
• Genuinely curious and eager to learn - you ask questions, explore on your own, and enjoy solving problems
• A collaborative attitude - you work well with others, communicate clearly, and are open to feedback
• Comfortable using Git for version control

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Next.js, even if just from tutorials or side projects
• Familiarity with Chrome DevTools for debugging (inspecting elements, reading console errors, checking network requests)
• Any exposure to REST APIs or state management
• Experience using AI coding assistants (like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT) to build or learn faster

This is a paid internship based in Mumbai.
