Job summary

techcarrot in India is seeking a front-end engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using React.js and Next.js. You will build reusable components, implement SSR/SSG, and optimize performance and SEO while collaborating with backend developers and product teams.

The ideal candidate has strong React/Next.js experience, proficiency with modern styling (CSS Modules, SCSS, Styled Components or Tailwind), and familiarity with Git, Azure landscapes, and CI/CD workflows.

Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications using React.js and Next.js

• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, efficient, and accessible code
  
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs / GraphQL services
  
• Optimize application performance, SEO, and page load times
  
• Write unit tests and support automated testing frameworks
  
• Participate in code reviews and enforce frontend-best practices
  
• Excellent communicator (written and verbal, formal and informal
  
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers
  

Requirements

• Strong expertise in React.js and Next.js
  
• Experience with modern styling approaches (CSS Modules, SCSS, Styled Components, Tailwind, etc.)
  
• Solid understanding of component-based architecture and state management
  
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs
  
• Familiarity with Git and modern CI/CD workflows
  
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  
• Experience in SQL Server T-SQL and Admin knowledge
  
• Implementation experience in Azure landscape
  
• Working and integration with Azure and other components
  
• Good understanding of the development life cycle, working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
  
• Experience in working with third-party libraries and APIs
  
• Good contributions in GitHub or Azure DevOps preferred
