Job summary

Genpact Ltd. is seeking a Front Line Manager - F&A - MDM to lead a team of master data associates, ensuring data quality and SLA compliance across supplier, customer and product domains.

You will coach, mentor, and drive governance initiatives in a fast-moving, AI-enabled environment. Responsibilities include end-to-end master data processes, process improvements, data cleansing, and reporting to senior management, leveraging SAP MDG, Informatica and other MD tools while ensuring security

Job Description

1. Team Leadership & People Management: Lead and manage a team of master data associates/analysts ensuring high performance and adherence to SLAs. Coach, mentor, and develop team members to build strong expertise in master data processes. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training needs.
2. Master Data Governance: Ensure strict adherence to master data governance policies and standards. Monitor and enforce data quality, accuracy, and completeness across master data domains (e.g., supplier, customer, product). Drive compliance with data management frameworks, ensuring all master data changes follow established procedures.
3. Data Quality Management: Oversee data cleansing, validation, and enrichment activities to maintain high data quality. Identify data inconsistencies, duplication, and anomalies; implement corrective actions. Collaborate with business and IT teams to resolve data-related issues.
4. Process Ownership & Improvement: Own end-to-end master data processes including creation, update, and deletion requests. Implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce errors. Ensure all process documentation is up to date and communicated to the team.
5. Stakeholder Management: Act as the key point of contact for master data issues across business units and IT. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (procurement, finance, IT, sales) to understand master data needs and challenges. Facilitate communication and alignment on master data standards and best practices.
6. Reporting & Metrics: Monitor and report on key master data KPIs such as data quality scores, turnaround times, and compliance rates. Prepare and present status reports and dashboards to senior management. Use data insights to recommend and implement corrective actions.
7. System & Tool Management: Oversee usage and maintenance of MDM tools and platforms (e.g., SAP MDG, Informatica, Stibo Systems). Coordinate with IT for system upgrades, issue resolution, and data integration projects. Ensure data security and access controls are maintained in line with policies.
8. Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure master data management activities comply with regulatory and internal audit requirements. Support audit activities by providing documentation, reports, and clarifications. Implement audit recommendations related to master data governance and controls.
