Job summary

Aditya Birla Group's Fashion & Retail division is seeking a Group Manager in Mumbai to handle front-end commercial activities for international brands. You will oversee capex evaluation, store opening finance, and revenue tracking across stores, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.

Key duties include coordinating with RBD, legal, project and brand teams, monitoring cash, card, and PV reconciliations, and acting as the single point of contact for stores and finance while driving compliant

Qualifications

• Experience in retail finance and capex evaluation.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across stores, finance, legal and operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for evaluation of the capex / IRR and approval of the store.
• Defining the norms of making of payment as advance with LOI, security deposit and ensuring adherence to the same.
• Tracking of stores planned for opening vs actual, tracking delays, dead rent etc for new stores and renovations.
• Approving of capex and keeping record of the commits, spends, approvals, against budget and norms, checking against over spend and tracking of progress.
• Coordinating with RBD, legal, Project and Brand for getting the store opened in time for related financial issues.
• Store opening activities from finance perspective, checking of legal compliance, payments to landlord, bank for payments.
• Responsible for day end, collection reconciliation of cash, credit card & PV against daily sales at stores.
• Coordinating with the regional commercial team for their day to day activities and giving guidance and support in implementation of various process and policies.
• Recommend unviable store closure based on performance criteria as defined by the business. Settle accounts based on agreement with landlord with Retail Ops and ensure recovery of security deposit from LL with RBD, Telephone Co and Electricity Board, as may be applicable
• Be a single point of contact for stores, retail ops and finance.

Job Description:

Store Selection and Spend (Capex)

1. Responsible for evaluation of the capex / IRR and approval of the store
