Job summary

Medico Hub in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, seeks a Consultant General Ophthalmologist (OPD) to lead comprehensive eye care in a busy OPD setting. You will conduct detailed patient evaluations, diagnose, and manage common ophthalmic conditions with emphasis on high-quality patient care.

The role requires MS Ophthalmology or DNB Ophthalmology and valid registration with NMC or a state medical council, with the ability to work independently in a high-volume clinic.

Qualifications

• MS Ophthalmology or DNB Ophthalmology qualifications.
• Registered with NMC or State Medical Council is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Eye OPD consultations.
• Diagnose and manage cataract, glaucoma, refractive errors, dry eye, conjunctival disorders, and other common ophthalmic conditions.
• Perform comprehensive eye examinations including slit-lamp evaluation, refraction, fundoscopy, and tonometry.
• Interpret diagnostic investigations such as OCT, Visual Field, Fundus Photography, and B-Scan as required.
• Manage ophthalmic emergencies and provide referrals when necessary.
• Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and preventive eye care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and EMR; coordinate with Retina, Cornea, Glaucoma, Cataract, and Oculoplasty specialists.

Key Responsibilities
