Job summary

Hire Hubb in Coimbatore seeks a skilled CNC/VMC operator to manufacture precision components. You will read engineering drawings, set up machines, load/unload jobs, and monitor operations to ensure smooth performance.

You will measure components with Vernier calipers, micrometers and bore gauges, verify tolerances, and report any issues. The role requires following 5S, safety standards and contributing to on-time production targets.

Qualifications

• Operate CNC and VMC machines for precision component manufacturing.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, technical specifications, and measurements.
• Perform machine setting, tool setting, and job loading/unloading.
• Monitor machining operations and ensure smooth machine functioning.
• Check component dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
• Ensure components meet quality standards and specified tolerances.
• Identify machining defects and report machine-related issues to the supervisor.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain production targets and ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Follow 5S, quality, and workplace safety standards.

• Experience in precision engineering or manufacturing industries is preferred.
