Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of CNC/VMC operation experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of feeds, speeds and machining parameters.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and VMC machines for precision component production.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform machine setting, tool setting and loading/unloading.
• Monitor operations and ensure smooth machine performance.
• Measure dimensions with Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges.
• Ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirements.
• Identify defects and report issues to supervisor.
• Follow 5S, safety and quality procedures.

• Operate CNC and VMC machines for precision component manufacturing.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, technical specifications, and measurements.
• Perform machine setting, tool setting, and job loading/unloading.
• Monitor machining operations and ensure smooth machine functioning.
• Check component dimensions using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
• Ensure components meet quality standards and specified tolerances.
• Identify machining defects and report machine-related issues to the supervisor.
• Perform basic machine maintenance and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain production targets and ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Follow 5S, quality, and workplace safety standards.

Required Skills

• 2 to 5 years of experience in CNC / VMC machine operation.
• Knowledge of machine setting, tool changing, and machining processes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining parameters.
• Experience in precision engineering or manufacturing industries is preferred.
