Job summary

The Attention Co. is a new India-first media studio launching a long-form podcast. You will be the first creative hire on the content side, editing episodes into punchy short clips for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.

You’ll shape the video department and enjoy the freedom of building something from scratch. Key requirements include 1+ years of short-form video editing, mastery of Premiere Pro, and a portfolio demonstrating compelling storytelling and scroll-stopping edits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years editing short-form video for brands/creators.
• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects a bonus).
• Strong timing, storytelling and hook creation.
• Solid color, audio and subtitle skills for multi‑platform delivery.
• Able to meet deadlines and iterate with feedback.
• Portfolio or reel showing scroll-stopping edits.

Responsibilities

• Cut long-form podcast footage into 30–90 second clips for Reels/Shorts.
• Add captions, text overlays, and graphics to engage viewers.
• Align pacing and music with platform best practices.
• Manage media, project files and exports for fast turnaround.
• Stay updated on social trends and viral audio cues.

You'll slice, dice, and polish our raw podcast footage into punchy short-form clips and scroll-stopping promos that travel across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. Your edits will shape how thousands discover the show every week. Be the very first creative hire, set up our entire video department and enjoy the freedom (and thrill) of building something from scratch.

What You'll Do

• Cut long-form episodes into 30-90 second highlights ready for Reels and Shorts
• Add captions, dynamic text, and subtle graphics that keep viewers hooked
• Align pacing, music, and jump cuts to platform-specific best practices
• Manage raw media, project files, and exports for lightning-fast turnaround
• Stay on top of social trends, meme formats, and viral audio cues

Who You Are

• 1+ years editing short-form social video for high-growth brands or creators
• Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a bonus)
• Razor-sharp sense of timing, storytelling, and thumb-stopping hooks
• Strong color, audio, and subtitle skills for multi-platform delivery
• Comfortable owning deadlines and iterating quickly with feedback
• Portfolio or reel that proves you can make viewers pause their scroll
