Founder's Office - AI Product Strategy and Execution

Location: Gurugram, India
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting To: Chief of Staff, with direct exposure to the Founder and CEO
Number of Positions: 4-5
Compensation: Up to ₹12-15 LPA; lower ranges may also be considered depending on experience and suitability.

The company is building in India to address the requirements of the Indian Armed Forces and other strategic institutions.

About the Role

We are looking for high-ownership professionals who can work across product, customer engagement, strategy and execution in a fast-moving AI product company.

As a member of the Founder's Office, you will support the Chief of Staff and Founder on priority initiatives, translate customer and user requirements into product and business actions, and ensure that important cross-functional projects move from ideas to measurable outcomes.

This is not a conventional coordination role. It requires technical curiosity, structured problem-solving, strong communication and the willingness to take responsibility beyond a narrowly defined job description.

Key Responsibilities

• Support product strategy and execution by researching use cases, defining problem statements, preparing product notes and tracking decisions through delivery.
• Participate in product demonstrations and customer meetings, understand requirements, capture feedback and coordinate timely follow-through with product and technology teams.
• Work closely with engineering, AI, product, sales and operations teams to execute cross-functional projects with clear owners, milestones and outcomes.
• Prepare briefs, presentations, proposals, market research, competitive analyses and decision notes for the Founder and Chief of Staff.
• Analyse markets, competitors, customer segments and emerging AI and defence-technology opportunities to support product and go-to-market decisions.
• Help develop go-to-market plans, partnership approaches, pilot programmes and customer engagement strategies.
• Track company priorities and operating metrics, identify bottlenecks early and coordinate the required actions across teams.
• Take ownership of special projects spanning product, business development, hiring, operations or strategic partnerships.
• Handle sensitive company, product and customer information with maturity, discretion and sound judgement.

Candidate Profile

Experience

• Typically 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a Founder's Office, product strategy, product operations, strategy and operations, consulting, programme management or an early-stage technology company.

Technology and Product Exposure

• Prior experience working with AI, SaaS, enterprise software, deep-tech or another technology product.
• Ability to understand technical products and communicate their value clearly to business and customer stakeholders.
• Exposure to AI or machine-learning products will be strongly preferred.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, computer science, technology, management or a related field.
• Candidates from IITs or other leading institutions will be preferred, but this is not mandatory.

Execution Capabilities

• Evidence of independently managing ambiguous and cross-functional projects from definition to completion.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment where priorities may change quickly.
• Comfortable managing multiple responsibilities and wearing different hats depending on the company's requirements.

Communication and Customer Engagement

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good presentation skills and confidence in customer-facing discussions.
• Comfortable participating in product demonstrations and explaining product capabilities to customers and partners.

• Experience using modern AI tools for research, analysis, writing, prototyping and day-to-day execution.
