PTC is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to join our Business Systems team in Pune. The role focuses on designing, developing, implementing, and supporting workflow orchestration, automation, integrations, reporting, and applications to boost operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related field.
• 3+ years' experience in Software Engineering, Solutions Engineering, DevOps, or Technical Consulting.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work directly with customers and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience deploying enterprise SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized workloads.
• Knowledge of DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Experience with Salesforce, ServiceNow, Sitecore, Workday, or other enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to AI/ML solutions, analytics platforms, or data engineering.
