Job summary

Blue Machines Ai is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, deploy, and operate production Voice AI agents for enterprise telephony systems. You will embed with client environments, own agent performance end-to-end, and bridge client systems with the Blue Machines platform across APIs and cloud services.

The role emphasizes hands-on delivery, production ownership, and collaboration with clients to deploy scalable AI workflows and real-time telephony integrations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of software development experience with at least ~2 years shipping live LLM/AI applications (agents, RAG, chatbots); voice experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python or Java for backend architecture and integration work.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and deep knowledge of APIs, WebSockets, and auth protocols (OAuth2, JWT).
• Data fluency: ability to pull and analyze data using SQL, Python, or Sheets.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and presence; able to explain technical complexity in plain terms.
• Willingness to travel for on-site client workshops and deployment reviews.

You will embed with client environments, take technical ownership of agent performance, and bridge client systems with the Blue Machines platform across APIs, cloud services, and AI frameworks.
