This Forward Deployed Engineer role places you at the client, owning end-to-end workstreams from design to production, with exposure to modern stacks, data platforms and ML-enabled workflows in enterprise settings.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline is common but not exclusive.
• Postgraduate qualifications and certifications in cloud, security or machine learning welcome.
• Strong practical evidence of building and shipping production software is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship production-grade full-stack applications into client environments, owning features from requirement through to deployment.
• Integrate across the client's estate, spanning CRM, ERP and finance, ticketing and service management, data platforms, identity, and APIs, ensuring reliable and secure data flow.
• Own workstreams end to end: scope the problem, design the architecture, build the thing and drive it into production.
• Build on large language models and agent frameworks where the problem calls for it, covering orchestration, retrieval, prompting, guardrails and evaluation.
• Apply engineering discipline to everything shipped: automated testing, CI/CD, code review, and observability.
• Document integrations, architecture decisions and runbooks for future maintainers.

Aistra is engaged from strategy and AI roadmap through to production, operations and scaling. We are an AI-native firm rather than one retrofitting itself, providing access to Aistra's accelerators, toolkits and IP, and to current AI tooling and platforms. We operate across India, MENA, the UK and Australia, and engineers who want international deployment will find the route open rather than theoretical.

About the Role

A Forward Deployed Engineer is how Aistra's work reaches production. You embed with a client, take the problem at its vaguest, and stay with it until it runs in their environment and their team stops asking you questions about it. This is a deliberately broad role, where one person carries the workstream, and that person is you.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and ship production-grade full-stack applications into client environments, owning features from requirement through to deployment.
• Integrate across the client's estate, spanning CRM, ERP and finance, ticketing and service management, data platforms, identity, and internal or third-party APIs, ensuring data flow is reliable and secure.
• Own workstreams end to end: scope the problem, design the architecture, build the thing and drive it into production.
• Build on large language models and agent frameworks where the problem calls for it, covering orchestration, retrieval, prompting, guardrails and evaluation.
• Apply engineering discipline to everything shipped: automated testing, continuous integration and deployment, code review, and observability.
• Document integrations, architecture decisions and runbooks, so that the next person into this system is not reverse-engineering your reasoning at 11pm.

Qualifications

A degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline is the common route into this role, not the only one. We weigh what you have built more heavily than what you studied or where, and strong practical evidence in place of a formal degree is considered on its own merits. Postgraduate qualifications and certifications in cloud, security or machine learning are welcome.

Preferred Skills

• 2 to 5 years shipping production software with real depth in at least one modern stack across frontend, backend and data layers.
• Frontend depth in a modern component framework such as React, Next.js, Vue or Angular with TypeScript.
• Enterprise integration across CRM, ERP and finance.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure or GCP.
