Job summary

Ellicium Solutions is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with 5+ years of experience to work closely with enterprise customers and internal teams. The role involves implementing, deploying, integrating, and supporting AI/ML solutions in customer environments, acting as a technical bridge and ensuring successful adoption.

You will collaborate with ML Engineers, Solution Architects, DevOps, and infrastructure teams, while traveling as required to customer sites across India.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML deployment and customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

Role Overview:

• We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) with 5+ years of experience. Work closely with enterprise customers and internal engineering teams to implement, deploy, integrate, and support AI/ML solutions in customer environments.
• The FDE will act as a technical bridge between the customer and engineering teams, understanding customer requirements, translating them into technical solutions, supporting deployments, and ensuring successful adoption and operation of the solution.
• This is a highly customer-facing role and requires a strong combination of AI/ML technical expertise, deployment knowledge, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and willingness to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to co-work with Agentic AI model, Optimizing processes agnatically [agentic optimizing engineering]
• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their technical and business requirements
• Act as the technical point of contact between customers and internal engineering teams
• Gather, analyse, and translate customer requirements into technical solutions
• Design, configure, deploy, and support AI/ML solutions and ML pipelines in customer environments
• Work closely with ML Engineers, Solution Architects, Infrastructure Engineers, DevOps/SRE teams, and other technical stakeholders
• Support implementation and deployment of AI/ML workloads across customer environments
• Troubleshoot technical issues across application, ML, infrastructure, and deployment layers
• Work with customer technical teams to identify issues, dependencies, and implementation requirements
• Participate in solution discussions and provide technical recommendations based on customer requirements
• Support proof-of-concepts, pilots, implementations, and production deployments as required
• Understand customer environments and ensure the proposed solution is aligned with their technical ecosystem
• Coordinate with internal engineering teams to resolve customer issues and remove technical blockers
• Communicate implementation status, technical challenges, dependencies, and solutions to customers and internal stakeholders
• Support the customer throughout the implementation and deployment lifecycle
• Work from customer premises when required
• Must be available for on-call support as needed
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Agentic AI models
• Capability to optimize repetitive processes and workflows using agentic/autonomous engineering approaches

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of AI/ML systems and ML pipelines
• Practical experience with deployment and productionisation of ML solutions
• Understanding of cloud and infrastructure concepts
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Understanding of application deployment and operational processes
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across multiple layers of a solution
• Exposure to enterprise AI/ML environments and customer implementations
• Ability to work across different technical stacks and understand how various components interact

Customer-Facing Responsibilities:

• Work directly with customer technical teams and business stakeholders
• Conduct technical discussions and requirement gathering sessions
• Understand customer pain points and convert them into actionable technical requirements
• Explain complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders
• Coordinate between customer teams and internal engineering teams

Required Experience:

• Experience working on multiple projects or customer engagements
• Prior experience in a client-facing technical role is strongly preferred
• Experience working with technical teams and enterprise customers
• Experience implementing or supporting AI/ML solutions in production environments is preferred
