Job summary

Leena AI in Gurugram (Preferred) seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions across HR, IT, and Enterprise Operations. You will own customer implementations from discovery through production, coordinating with Product and Engineering to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will configure AI assistants, build integrations, customize LLm experiences, and lead workshops, design sessions, and deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Forward Deployed Eng., Software Eng., or customer-facing roles.
• Strong software background with hands-on Python/TypeScript/JS coding.
• Experience implementing enterprise SaaS and complex integrations.
• Hands-on with LLM apps, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, and evaluation.
• Experience with AI frameworks and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end enterprise implementations from discovery to production go-live.
• Gather business and technical requirements and translate into scalable AI solutions.
• Conduct solution workshops, technical design sessions, and stakeholder reviews.
• Prepare solution design docs, implementation plans, and deployment docs.
• Drive UAT, production deployments, hyper-care, and post-go-live support.
• Design/build/troubleshoot integrations with major enterprise systems.
• Partner with Product/Engineering to deliver customer-specific enhancements.

Location: Gurugram (Preferred)

As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at Leena AI, you will partner with enterprise customers to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions across HR, IT, and Enterprise Operations. Acting as the primary technical lead, you will own customer implementations from discovery through production, combining software engineering, AI application development, enterprise integrations, and solution consulting to deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will work closely with customers, Product, and Engineering teams to configure AI assistants, build integrations, customize LLM‑powered experiences, solve complex technical challenges, and ensure successful deployments.

Customer Engagement & Solution Delivery

• Lead end-to-end enterprise implementations from discovery to production go‑live.
• Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable AI solutions.
• Conduct solution workshops, technical design sessions, and stakeholder reviews.
• Prepare solution design documents, implementation plans, and deployment documentation.
• Drive UAT, production deployments, hyper‑care, and post‑go‑live support.

AI Engineering & LLM Customization

• Customize AI assistants and LLM‑powered experiences for customer‑specific use cases.
• Build and optimize prompt engineering, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, tool calling, and workflow orchestration.
• Improve model quality through prompt optimization, evaluation, guardrails, and fine‑tuning techniques where applicable.
• Develop reusable AI capabilities and implementation accelerators.

Enterprise Integrations & Software Engineering

• Design, build, and troubleshoot integrations with Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Teams, Slack, Salesforce, Jira, and Zendesk.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, Webhooks, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0, SCIM, JWT authentication, enterprise security protocols, data synchronization, and event‑driven architectures.
• Develop customer‑specific extensions, automation components, API wrappers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with Engineering to resolve customer escalations.

Technical Leadership

• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to deliver customer‑specific enhancements.
• Share implementation best practices and contribute to product improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Software Engineering, Solution Engineering, Technical Consulting, or customer‑facing engineering roles.
• Education preferred: a degree from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 engineering college and/or a Tier 1 MBA college.
• Strong software engineering background with hands‑on coding experience in Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience implementing enterprise SaaS platforms and building enterprise integrations.
• Hands‑on experience with LLM applications, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, vector search, embeddings, and model evaluation.
• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI SDK, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building production AI agents and enterprise automation solutions.
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol), multi‑agent systems, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise security, identity management, and AI governance.
• Experience leading customer implementations.

Additional Requirement

• Open to frequent travel and working from customer locations during key phases of implementation, workshops, testing, and production deployments.
• Open to working in dedicated/overlapping shifts of India, MEA, EU regions as per business needs.
