Weekday AI is seeking a skilled Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge engineering, product, and enterprise customers by delivering scalable, data-driven solutions. You will architect robust data pipelines, build production-ready systems, and drive measurable outcomes across the implementation lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of Forward Deployed Engineering, Data Engineering, Solution Engineering, or customer-facing technical consulting roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL with experience building production-grade data solutions.
• Experience designing and optimizing data pipelines, data warehouses, and distributed data processing systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, fault tolerance, and data architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS, including containerized deployments using Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration platforms such as Airflow, Argo, Temporal, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with BigQuery, including schema design, query optimization, partitioning, and cost optimization.
• Strong frontend development experience using React and TypeScript to build scalable user interfaces.
• Experience integrating REST and GraphQL APIs into enterprise applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead customer-facing technical discussions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution architecture skills with the ability to translate ambiguous business problems into scalable technical solutions.
• A collaborative mindset with a passion for building customer-centric products and driving continuous platform improvements.
