Job summary

Winsen Labs in Mumbai is hiring two forward-deployed engineers for a full-time hybrid role. You will build AI employees and deploy inside client institutions, staying with the project until the work holds under real volume, and you will collaborate closely with the founding team.

The position requires strong engineering fundamentals, comfort working on-site at a client, and the ability to translate field learnings back into the product, with emphasis on core systems, data warehouses, and audit

Winsen Labs builds AI employees for financial services, and forward-deployed engineers are how they reach production. You will build with the founding team in Mumbai, then deploy inside the client's institution: introduced to their team, sitting with their people, working at the heart of the engagement until the AI employee holds under real volume.

This is a flexible role by design. Every engineer at Winsen works forward-deployed, because the product only gets good when the people building it have sat inside the processes it works on. Some weeks you are deep in the runtime. Some weeks you are at a client's office watching a credit reviewer work. Both are the job.

Prerequisite: you are AI native. You already build with coding agents every day and have strong, earned opinions about where AI helps and where it gets in the way. If AI is still a novelty to you, this is not the role.
