Job summary

RecruitBots AI is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead customer-facing integrations and deliver AI-powered solutions. You will shape implementation approaches, guide technical decisions, own complex integrations, and collaborate with customers, product, and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities include leading discovery, building deployments, and mentoring teammates, with a focus on robust APIs, databases, and integrations across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Candidates should demonstrate substantial hands-on engineering experience and ownership of customer-facing technical implementations.

• Lead customer discovery and translate business needs into solution designs and delivery plans.
• Own the build, customization, integration, and deployment of AI-powered applications and workflows.
• Design and deliver complex API, database, and third-party platform integrations.
• Develop and review backend services and automation workflows for reliability and maintainability.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex technical issues and improve application performance and stability.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to inform product improvements using customer implementation feedback.
• Guide customer onboarding and implementation delivery, and mentor teammates where appropriate.

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead customer-facing technical implementations and deliver robust AI-powered solutions. You will shape implementation approaches, guide technical decisions, own complex integrations, and work across customer, product, and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Strong experience with APIs, backend systems, databases, and production integrations.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub and collaborative engineering practices.
• Applied experience building AI/LLM-enabled applications.
• Strong technical problem-solving, customer communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, and RAG.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker and application deployment.
• Exposure to customer-facing engineering or technical consulting.

Education
