Job summary

Siemens Mobility is looking for a dedicated Manufacturing Technician in Aurangabad, India. This role involves organizing production activities for High Voltage Circuit Breakers and ensuring quality standards are met. Candidates should possess a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have experience in the assembly area.

The position is a Fixed Term Contract for two years, with opportunities to visit other locations as needed. Diversity candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as an Apprentice in the Assembly area on shop-floor.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manufacture the product as per the production plan.
• Assemble High Voltage Circuit Breaker and sub-assemblies as per instructions.
• Ensure defined quality norms are met during assembly.
• Use tools and resources efficiently.
• Communicate production issues to the team.
• Maintain safety and EHS norms on the shop floor.
• Support Audits & Quality Improvements.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manufacture the product as per the production plan within the framework of policies and guidelines of Siemens Energy India Ltd with the objective of utilization of available resources.
• Assemble the assemblies and sub-assemblies of High Voltage Circuit Breaker, Drives & Sub-assemblies IN ORDER TO execute manufacturing as per production plan.
• Ensure the assemblies are made as per the assembly work instruction IN ORDER TO ensure that defined quality norms are met.
• Ensure the tools and resources are used in efficient manner IN ORDER TO ensure that defined norms are met.
• Ensure the abnormalities/flaws are taken care during short time or communicated to concerned team member IN ORDER TO ensure that production plans are met in time.
• Work ensuring adherence to safety and EHS norms on shop floor IN ORDER TO reduce accidents to ensure environmental protection on shop floor.
• Act as a support for Audits & Quality Improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical).
• 1 year experience as an Apprentice in Assembly area on shop-floor.
• Good communication skills with excellent team work spirit.

Contract and Location

This position is a Fixed Term Contract for a period of two years. The role is based at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra but you’ll also get to visit other locations as per business need.
