Air India’s Flight Training Organization (FTO) seeks professional and passionate Flight Instructors to maintain high‑quality training, safeguard flight training standards, and shape the future of aviation professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality flight training in accordance with Aircraft Rule 1937, ScheduleII, Section‑R.
• Follow the approved syllabus and training techniques outlined in the Training & Procedure Manual (TPM).
• Monitor and support trainee progress as part of a training cohort to ensure safe flight operations.
• Assist in planning, coordinating and overseeing student pilot applications.
• Maintain accurate and timely flight reports for all student pilots.
• Assist the Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) and Deputy CFI in fostering challenge and individual development among trainees.
• Stay updated with DGCA guidance, TPM revisions and changes to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure standardized training practices are maintained across the cohort.

• Minimum education of 10+2 in line with Aircraft Rule 1937, ScheduleII, Section‑R.
• Experience as per Aircraft Rule 1937, ScheduleII, Section‑R.
• Desired: 1,000+ flight hours, 500+ instructional flight hours, and experience with aircraft similar to those used by Air India FTO.
