Airbus India Training Centre Private Limited in Gurgaon, Haryana, India, is seeking a Professional Flight Instructor (SFI) for its fixed-term program to train airline crews converting to Airbus aircraft. In this role you will deliver training using simulators, classrooms and FFS, ensuring safe and compliant operations.
You should have 3,000 total flight hours (1,500 on MPA), hold or have held an EASA/DGCA ATPL, and possibly an Airbus type rating.
This position is for the newly formed joint venture company between Airbus Air India. The joint venture company is called Airbus India Training Center (AITC).
Delivering on its commitment to Skill India , Airbus has entered into a 50:50 joint venture with the Tata-owned Air India to launch a world-class pilot training center in Gurugram, Haryana. The JV Training Centre will offer A320 and A350 flight training to some 5,000 new pilots over 10 years.
Airbus India training center (AITC) will be a strategically critical project for both organizations, with an ambition to form a world leading Aviation Academy in South Asia that could positively impact operations and safety standards of both Airbus and Air India operators in the region.
