Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Flexo Printing Machine Operator role based in Coimbatore. The Flexo Printing Machine Operator will set up, operate, and monitor flexographic printing machines used for producing teabag tags and envelopes, ensuring efficient and safe production. Responsibilities include preparing materials, adjusting machine settings, checking color registration, and performing routine checks to maintain print consistency and minimize waste. The role involves inspecting finished products for quality, performing basic maintenance, reporting machine issues, and following all safety and housekeeping procedures. The operator will coordinate with the production and quality teams, follow work orders and shift schedules, and maintain accurate records of production activities.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Machine Operation and flexographic Machinery skills, including setup, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting.
• Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, with the ability to inspect prints, identify defects, and adhere to production standards.
• Candidates should possess experience working safely with Hand Tools and basic mechanical components for routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, production staff, and quality teams.
• Prior experience as a flexo or packaging printing machine operator in a manufacturing environment is highly beneficial.
• Understanding of safety practices, color matching, and material handling in printing operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, follow instructions accurately, and work in shifts as required.
• A relevant technical diploma or vocational training in printing, mechanical, or production-related fields is an advantage.
