Job summary

MAHLE India offers a hands-on maintenance role on the shop floor in Dhar, MP, focusing on machine troubleshooting, corrective actions, and ongoing improvements to efficiency and quality. You will work with quality, production, engineering, and R&D to integrate new technologies and ensure smooth workflows.

Strong reading of drawings and fabrication knowledge are desirable, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• ITI in Fitter or Welding Trade.
• 3-4 years’ experience on mechanical maintenance shop floor.
• Foundry experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of fabrication preferred.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, 5S, EHS.
• Able to read mechanical drawings.
• Excellent organization and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve machine-related issues and breakdowns in a timely manner, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Identify and implement machine improvements to increase production efficiency, reduce scrap rates, minimize waste, and lower costs, optimize the head counts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including quality control, production, engineering, and R&D, to ensure smooth production flow and the successful integration of new technologies.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of the department.

Job description

Your Contribution

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve machine-related issues and breakdowns in a timely manner, implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Your Experience And Qualification

• ITI in Fitter or Welding Trade
• Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in Shop floor of Mechanical Maintenance work of Shop machines and Utility machines.
• Prefer the knowledge and experience of Foundry Industries.
• Preference will be given for experience of good knowledge of fabrication.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, 5S, EHS.
• Able to understand Mechanical drawings.
• Excellent organization time-management abilities.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to read, understand and prepare electrical drawings.
• Ability of trouble shoot of the machine breakdowns with minimal time.
• Proven ability for Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems of the machines.
• Proven ability to have good welding skill.
• Data analysis skills for troubleshooting and resolving root cause analysis of machine defects.
• Regular execution of preventive maintenance as per planning.
• Find energy conservation opportunities in the plant.
• Have basic computer knowledge for departmental work.
