Job summary

JobTrade in Hyderabad, Telangana, India is seeking a Maintenance Turner / Fitter to perform preventive and breakdown maintenance in a Pharma API unit. The role requires fitting, alignment and dismantling of mechanical parts, with focus on pumps, valves and pipelines.

Day shifts, full-time employment, collaborative with production and maintenance teams. Candidate should have practical knowledge of industrial mechanical maintenance, ability to troubleshoot common issues, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• Pharma API manufacturing experience preferred.
• Hands-on maintenance and fitting work knowledge.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Inspect equipment for faults and wear.
• Carry out fitting, alignment, assembly and dismantling.
• Maintain pumps, valves, pipelines and gearboxes.
• Assist installation, modification and commissioning activities.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of machinery.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and records.
• Coordinate with production to minimize downtime.

Job Description

• Perform maintenance and repair activities in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing API Unit.
• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Inspect mechanical equipment to identify faults, wear, and potential breakdowns.
• Perform fitting, alignment, assembly, and dismantling of mechanical components.
• Handle maintenance activities related to pumps, valves, pipelines, gearboxes, and other mechanical equipment.
• Support equipment installation, modification, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain proper maintenance records.
• Adhere to pharmaceutical industry safety, quality, and maintenance standards.

Required Experience
